"Capital Porties," a book with stories and color photographs of 80 of Washington’s finest Portuguese Water Dogs, including Bo Obama’s brother Solo, is now available on Amazon.com. Alexandria resident Vicki Robb is the author along with Reston resident Buffy Nicolas.
Capital Porties provides a glimpse of what life is like as a Portie, and with a Portie. It came to be when Porties Reece Robb and Willy Nicolas decided a book was needed once Bo Obama moved to The White House. All proceeds from the book go to support the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria. Rep. Moran’s Portie Lulu is featured in the book.
