Q: Who is your favorite music artist?

A: Dave Matthews. I’m kind of an easygoing guy and he’s got some easygoing music. It’s easy to listen to, kind of chills you out.

Q: What is your favorite movie?

A: "Stepbrothers," with Will Ferrell. I’m a big fan of Will Ferrell; funny dude.

Q: How does the Alexandria area compare with back home (Clifton, N.C.)?

A: There’s definitely more traffic. It’s something you’ve got to deal with. It kind of gets annoying sometimes when it takes 30 minutes to go five miles.

Q: You’re studying environmental science at North Carolina Wesleyan College. What would you like to do with your degree?

A: Maybe a farm manager. I’m from a rural area where there’s a lot of farming. If you get an environmental science degree there’s all kinds of job opportunities for you.

Q: What’s the best feeling you can have during a baseball game?

A: Showing up the day you’re starting and it’s that one day where every pitch is working and you feel like you can hit any spot and you feel like there’s no way anybody can hit you.
