The Workhouse Film Institute Cinematic Tourist Series: Destination Hawaii, a weekend-long cultural celebration of Hawaii, in honor of Kamehameha Day. From June 11-13, this three-day celebration showcases the history and traditions of the islands, featuring authentic food, music, dance, art and much more. </b>Pirate’s Day at Pohick Bay at Pirate's Cove Waterpark, 6501 Pohick Bay Drive, Lorton. Pirate Camp begins at 10 a.m., the School for Scallywags at 11 a.m. and the pirate ship will anchor in Pohick Bay at 1 p.m. The pirates will battle at the marina 2-4 p.m., completing at Pirate’s Cove Waterpark. Children’s activities, living history, food, fun and more. Young scallywags can dig for buried coins at Buccaneer Beach to redeem for eye patches, plastic swords and other treasures. Pirate’s Cove Waterpark contains a pirate-themed play feature with a giant dumping barrel, two slides and water-spraying palm trees. A tot pool features a clam shell slide and spraying jets.
