<b>SSSAS Basketball</b>

The St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes boys basketball team will travel to scrimmage Osbourn Park at noon on Nov. 27. The Saints will open their season at Germantown Academy on Dec. 3.

The SSSAS girls basketball team will host National Cathedral at 5:45 p.m. on Nov. 30.

<b>Bishop Ireton Basketball</b>

The Bishop Ireton boys basketball team will face Archbishop Spalding at 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 4 during the Baltimore-DC Shootout at Maret High School.

The girls basketball team will travel to face Coolidge at 7 p.m. on Dec. 2.

<b>Episcopal Basketball</b>

The Episcopal boys basketball team will host Haverford (Pennsylvania) at 8 p.m. on Dec. 3. The girls basketball team will host a scrimmage against Georgetown Day at 4:15 p.m. on Nov. 30 and open the season on the road against National Cathedral at 6 p.m. on Dec. 3.

<b>Coaches Needed</b>

The Alexandria Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities is currently seeking volunteers to coach youth basketball, cheerleading, baseball and softball. <b>Running Club on Sundays</b>

The Mount Vernon Milers running club meets at 8 a.m. on Sundays. The group usually meets along the Potomac River, but the exact location is listed in an e-mail sent every Wednesday for the coming week. Distances vary but runners can expect between four and eight miles.
