Spot’s Birthday Party celebrates the birthday of Spot, the beloved character brought to life by Eric Hill’s Find Spot series, now celebrating its 30th year in publication. Spot's friends Tom the crocodile, Helena the hippo and Steve the monkey will be there for the fun, games, songs and magic. Every child will receive a complimentary birthday hat and goodie bag, filled with birthday surprises. <cal2>"Little Red Riding Hood & the 3 Little Pigs." What’s so bad about the Big Bad Wolf? At last B.B. (Big Bad) Wolfe tells his side of the story, and in rap, no less. Has the notorious pork poacher and grandma impersonator gotten a bum rap, or is he truly deserving of his moniker? You be the judge! This tongue-in-cheek version of the two children’s favorites uses humor and music to explore our fear of things we don’t understand. This is one of our funniest productions, and includes lots of audience participation. Recommended for PreK – Grade 6. Running time is 40 minutes. <cal2>The Puppet Co. Playhouse will be holding its very first Tiny Tots Festival, "Totally Tiny Tots," with productions for the very young. Totally Tiny Tots runs from Sept. 15 – Oct. 10 at 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Tickets are $5/adults and children. Totally Tiny Tots will feature Bob Brown Puppets in a variety of colorful and musical adventures. Performances will be held every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, with show titles changing each week! "Totally Tiny Tots" is designed for young children ages 0-4. The shows have a shorter length, the lights stay on low, and the door remains open throughout the performance.
