Thomas P. Finley, OD, owner of Dr. Finley’s Family Eyecare, was recently recognized by the Virginia Optometric Association with the 2012 Distinguished Achievement Award. Finley was awarded this honor based on his commitment to service local charitable organizations, mentor young doctors, serve as a legislative key person, and further advance the optometric professional while providing exceptional service to his patients.
Finley has practiced in Herndon, and been an active member of the state’s Association, for 23 years. Finley received his Doctorate of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and following graduation served as an optometry officer in the United States Air Force for eight years.
