The new lead psychologist earned his doctorate in school psychology from the University of Florida, where he also received a master’s degree in education and a bachelor’s degree in psychology. He became a nationally certified and Maryland-certified school psychologist in 2007, and a District of Columbia-certified school psychologist in 2011.

In addition to serving as chairperson of the Leadership Development Institute’s Kappa Phi Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. since 2009, Baker also has represented the National Association of School Psychologists as CLD Ambassador since 2008.

Baker joined ACPS staff on March 19.
