Reston Hospital Center’s Tim McManus Promoted to CEO of CJW Medical Center

Chief Executive Officer and President of Reston Hospital Center and HCA Northern Virginia, Tim McManus has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer of CJW Medical Center, a two-campus medical center with 758-beds in Richmond, Virginia. His final day will be on June 15 and Jane Raymond, Reston Hospital Center’s Chief Operating Officer and Vice President, will serve as Interim CEO while a national search is conducted for a replacement.

"Tim McManus has fostered the expansion efforts of Reston Hospital Center and HCA Northern Virginia with the progression of the medical office building and operating services expansion projects," said Joseph Ritchey, Chairman of Reston’s Board of Trustees. "He served as an open-door CEO who shaped the hospital’s culture to be one of two-way communication with a continued focus on clinical quality and patient satisfaction. We are all extremely happy for Tim and supportive of this progression in his career. "

"Working at Reston Hospital Center has been a wonderful experience for me professionally and personally," said McManus. "I will always have great memories of my time here and the physicians and staff I was privileged to work with."

About Reston Hospital Center’s future, Ritchey said, "Thanks to Tim’s leadership and the outstanding work of our employees and physicians, Reston Hospital is clearly positioned for ongoing success. We’re confident that this opening will attract a large number of highly-qualified candidates."
