Bank Robbery in the Herndon Area

Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred Thursday, Nov. 1. Around 1:37 p.m. a man entered the Capital One Bank located at 13344-A Franklin Farm Road, implied he had a weapon and demanded money from a teller. The teller complied and the suspect fled. There were no injuries.

The suspect was described as white, in his 40’s, five-foot-four inches to five-foot-seven inches tall, medium build and wearing a black zip-up style jacket, black pants and a black hunter’s style hat.

Herndon Holiday Arts and Craft Show will be held on

Sunday, Dec. 2, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The Herndon Community Center will host more than 100 arts and crafts vendors, offering unique gifts, holiday decorations, and handmade items. Admission and parking are free. The event is at the Herndon Community Center, 814 Ferndale Ave, Herndon.
