During Saturday's Sticker Shock activity, teams of youth and adults visited 60 retailers in Alexandria to place "Stop" stickers on alcohol products. The stickers contain warnings about the penalties for furnishing alcohol to minors. Saturday's Sticker Shock event was organized by the Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition of Alexandria and its partners: Alexandria Department of Community and Human Services, Alexandria Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities, Alexandria Police Department, Alexandria Sheriff's Office and Virginia ABC.
