Supervisor Michael R. Frey honored Wild West Irish Tours of Springfield along with vocalist Cathy Jordan (Sligo, Ireland) with a proclamation declaring Dec. 13 as "Cathy Jordan/Wild West Irish Tours Day" in Fairfax County. The event was held at the Irish Embassy in Washington, D.C. to launch "The Gathering 2013," a celebration of Irish heritage being celebrated throughout 2013 in Ireland.
