Social Skills Summer Camp. Children in grades 1 through 6 can attend camp and learn friendly behaviors, working as a team, anger management and more. Alzheimer's Association support groups provide a place for people with Alzheimer's, their caregivers, family members, and/or friends to share valuable information, caregiving tips and concerns throughout the Alzheimer's journey. Volunteers Wanted

Volunteers are needed to lead free Bone Builders exercise classes that help prevent falls and fractures caused by osteoporosis. Osteoporosis causes bones to become thin and to break easily. Each one-hour Bone Builders session is based on bone density research and includes balance and weight training. Volunteers lead the program and there is no charge to participants. Activities include demonstrating the exercises, encouraging and assisting participants, and ensuring a safe and clutter-free environment. Volunteer leaders receive a full day of free training, as well as periodic refresher training classes, ongoing support and supervision by master trainers. Bone Builders is sponsored by Montgomery County’s RSVP program and Aging and Disability Services, part of the Department of Health and Human Services.
