4th Annual Move Me Festival Resonates at Kenmore

Bowen McCauley Dance hosted the 4th Annual Move Me Festival on Saturday afternoon, April 27, at the Kenmore Middle School. Honorary hosts included state Sen. Barbara Favola and Del. Patrick Hope, and WUSA9 2s Anita Brickman.

Move Me, a celebration of the arts and culture, featured performances and artistic activities by local arts partners: Arlington Arts Center, Arlington Children’s Chorus, Arlington Concert Orchestra, Arts Council of Fairfax County, Bailey’s Elementary School, BalletNova Center for Dance, Encore Stage & Studio, Georgetown Visitation Dance Ensemble, Footworks Percussive Dance Ensemble, Halau O ‘Aulani, Bowen McCauley Dance Kenmore Junior Company, Los Quetzales Mexican Dance Ensemble, Maple Avenue Market, Marshall Road Elementary School, Parkinson Foundation of the National Capital Area, Presto!, Synetic Theater, Tinkus Tiataco USA, UrbanArias and the Virginia Hospital Center. The festival concluded with a one-hour performance by the Bowen McCauley Dance professional company and a special performance by Bowen McCauley Dance’s Kenmore Junior Company.
