The Mount Vernon District Station reported the following incidents:
DWI/ASSAULT, Fordson Road/Richmond Highway, May 27, 1:05 a.m. An officer stopped a vehicle and charged the driver with DWI. During the arrest process, A 53-year-old woman from Fort Belvoir allegedly stuck the officer. She was charged with DWI, obstruction, refusal, and assault on a police officer.
BURGLARY, 2700 block of Mennifield Court, May 27, 4:10 p.m. A resident reported someone entered the home and stole electronics. Forced entry was made through a window.
FIGHT, 8700 block of Richmond Highway, May 26, 5:10 p.m. Officers responded for a fight. Several women were found fighting but none were seriously injured. Following an investigation, A 28-year-old woman from Alexandria was charged with assault. A 27-year-old woman from Alexandria, was charged with one count of strangulation and three counts of assault.
ROBBERY, 6300 block of South Kings Highway, May 26, 10:40 p.m. A 27-year-old man reported an unknown man approached him, brandished a handgun, and demanded cash. The suspect fled with the victim’s wallet. The victim was not injured. The suspect was described as male, black, 20 to 30 years old, approximately six feet three inches tall and 185 pounds.
ASSAULT, Frye Road/Madge Lane, May 25, 1:20 a.m. A 37-year-old man reported he assaulted by three Hispanic men. The victim was able to fight off the suspects, but received a minor puncture wound. He was treated at the hospital.
ROBBERY, Seven Woods Drive/Tamarind Street, May 25, 2:50 a.m. Two men 47 and 21 years of age reported an unknown man surprised them, brandished a handgun, and demanded money. The victims were not injured. The suspect fled with cash and jewelry. The suspect was described as male, black, 20 to 30 years old, approximately five feet 10 inches tall and 165 pounds. The helicopter and a K-9 team assisted in a search of the suspect.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 2300 block of Nordok Place, May 25, 7 p.m. Officers responded for an alarm. The found evidence someone entered the building. No one was located and nothing was stolen.
BURGLARY, 3800 block of El Camino Place, May 24, 6:40 p.m. A resident reported someone entered the home and stole clothing. Forced entry was made through the front door.
SHOPLIFTING, 7400 block of Mount Vernon Square Center, May 23, 12:20 p.m. Two young men entered the business and placed drinks in their back pack. They fled after pushing an employee.
BURGLARY, 1700 block of Rampart Drive, May 23, 9:30 p.m. A resident reported someone entered the home and stole a laptop computer. There were no signs of forced entry.
ASSAULT/DIP, 7200 block of Richmond Highway, May 22, 6:20 a.m. A 14-year-old boy was allegedly causing problems at a business. Officers responded and found the juvenile allegedly intoxicated. The juvenile, of Alexandria, was charged with assault on a police officer, petit larceny, and being drunk in public.
ASSAULT, 6200 block of Richmond Highway, May 21, 1:50 a.m. An employee was separating several patrons who were arguing. The employee was allegedly assaulted and the suspect fled. Officers located the suspects. An 18-year-old man from Springfield was charged with assault. A 21-year-old man from Burke, was charged with assault and DWI.
