The Boy Scouts’ annual Scouting for Food drive was Saturday, Nov. 9. After the Scouts collected food donated by the community for local, needy families, volunteers sorted, boxed and transported it to the Western Fairfax Christian Ministries’ (WFCM) food pantry in Chantilly. Nearly 60,000 pounds of food were donated, and more than 900 Boy Scouts and almost 800 other volunteers – including adults, Girl Scouts and other groups – participated.
