The Arts Council of Fairfax County has moved to Merrifield. Their new address is 2667 Prosperity Avenue, Fairfax, two blocks from the Dunn Loring-Merrifield Metro Station on the Orange Line.

Visit http://artsfairfax.org for detailed parking and directions. Their main phone number, 703-642-0862, and staff e-mail addresses will remain the same.

"The Arts Council is very grateful to Fairfax County — the Board of Supervisors and all the great County staff that have helped to make this a great new home for the Arts Council,” says Linda S. Sullivan, president & CEO of the Arts Council of Fairfax County. “We owe special thanks to Providence District Supervisor Linda Smyth and HITT Contracting Inc. for making the space available.”

As the County’s designated local arts agency, the Arts Council’s mission is to provide funding, capacity building and information services to the arts, and to promote the arts to the general community. The new facility provides more space and functionality — and comes just as the Arts Council of Fairfax County kicks off its 50th anniversary year.
