One person was seriously injured and two others others hurt on Sunday evening, April 12, when a car went down an embankment off the Clara Barton Parkway near Glen Echo. The driver was ejected from the vehicle and had to be extracted from the embankment by Montgomery County Fire and Rescue workers. While the injuries were seriously, they were not life threatening, according to fire and rescue. The northbound Clara Barton Parkway was closed for more than an hour.
