Fairfax County Police detectives have increased the charge for Andre Curtis Wilkins from malicious wounding to murder in the shooting death of 27-year-old Marquel Davis.
Davis was shot Nov. 18 in the Audubon Road area of Hybla Valley. Police apprehended Wilkins Dec. 4.
He was already in the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center when detectives served the murder warrant on Dec. 11.
