ROBBERY, 8600 block of Village Square, June 8, 2:38 p.m. A pizza delivery driver was making a delivery and was approached by two men. One of the suspects displayed a knife to the driver and demanded money. The suspects assaulted the victim, took cash and fled on foot. The victim did not require medical attention. The suspects were described as two black males with their faces covered with a mask or bandana.

INDECENT EXPOSURE, 8200 block of Richmond Highway, June 5, 6:30 p.m. A woman was standing when a man driving through the parking lot exposed himself. The suspect was described as a white male driving an older unknown model vehicle.

BURGLARY, 3100 block of Furman Lane, June 3. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property. MALTREAT ANIMAL, 300 block of Doeg Indian Court, June 2. An Animal Control Officer responded for the report of a dog that was stabbed. The owner was charged with felony animal cruelty. The dog died as a result of the injuries.
BURGLARY, 5900 block of North Kings Highway, May 29. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.
ILLEGAL FILMING, 7900 block of Richmond Highway. May 28, around 10:22 p.m. The victims were in a department store shopping and were approached by a man. The man was allegedly taking pictures of the victims’ buttocks area. Officers located the suspect and arrested him. A 39-year-old Alexandria man was charged with filming/videotaping non-consenting persons and providing false identification to law enforcement.
ALCOHOL ENFORCEMENT
CHECKPOINT, Richmond Highway/Huntington Avenue, May 23. Officers conducted a DWI checkpoint for drunk drivers. Seven-hundred-fifty vehicles passed through. Thirteen summonses were issued and one criminal arrest was made.
