Lisa Gray of the Hayfield Farms area of Alexandria, a 16-year cancer survivor, hosted her second “Karaoke for the Cure” fundraising event at Lucky’s Sports Theatre & Grill on April 12.

Gray has raised more than $30,000 in support of breast cancer outreach programs and Susan G. Komen community grants in the National Capital Region.

During the two-hour event, more than 10 singers participated and helped Gray raise more than $500. Gray also plans to take part in the 2016 Race for the Cure on May 7 at the National Mall.
