‘Five Percent Day’ at Vienna Whole Foods

Throughout the day on Wednesday, March 30 shoppers at Whole Foods in Vienna will be helping two local charities. The more items patrons purchase, the more funds will be raised to support these local missions.

Several times a year, the Whole Foods Market stores hold community giving days (otherwise known as “5 percent Days”) where five percent of that day’s net sales are donated to a local nonprofit. The Shepherd’s Center of Oakton-Vienna (SCOV) in partnership with the Committee for Helping Others will be the recipients at this March 2016 event.
