Eleanor W. Bune, of Arlington,, celebrated her 98th birthday on March 14, with her daughter, Karen L. Bune, and friends. Her daughter arranged a small dinner party that was held at a local restaurant.
What is her secret to reaching 98 years-old? Her daughter credits her mother’s internist, Dr. Lawrence Stein, of Pulmonary Medical Associates in Arlington. “Dr. Stein has provided her excellent care. He is truly my hero because he saved my mother’s life in 1996 when she had a very, very severe case of pneumonia. If it were not for him, she would not be here today and would not have made it to 98. Dr. Stein is an outstanding physician and a caring professional who we both think the world of.”
