The Alexandria Police Department has been investigating robberies of cell phones that occurred recently in Alexandria. The following suspects have been arrested and charged with Robbery:
- A 16-year-old male city resident was charged with the following robbery: Dec. 8, 2016, 4:20 p.m., 900 block of Wythe Street (set up with LetGo app).
- A 17-year-old male city resident was charged with the following robberies: Dec. 8, 2016, 4:20 p.m., 900 block of Wythe Street (set up with LetGo app), and Dec. 27, 2016, 8:30 p.m., 900 block of N. Henry Street (victim knew suspect).
- A 19-year-old male city resident was charged with the following robbery: Jan. 1, 2017: 8:30 p.m.-1200 block of Madison Street (set up with Offer Up app).
