Arrests Follow Alexandria Cell Phone Robberies

The Alexandria Police Department has been investigating robberies of cell phones that occurred recently in Alexandria. The following suspects have been arrested and charged with Robbery:

  • A 16-year-old male city resident was charged with the following robbery: Dec. 8, 2016, 4:20 p.m., 900 block of Wythe Street (set up with LetGo app).
  • A 17-year-old male city resident was charged with the following robberies: Dec. 8, 2016, 4:20 p.m., 900 block of Wythe Street (set up with LetGo app), and Dec. 27, 2016, 8:30 p.m., 900 block of N. Henry Street (victim knew suspect).
  • A 19-year-old male city resident was charged with the following robbery: Jan. 1, 2017: 8:30 p.m.-1200 block of Madison Street (set up with Offer Up app).
