Clifton Earth Day Clean Up

Thirty-five-plus volunteers of all ages participated in the second Annual Clifton Earth Day Clean Up event on Sunday, April 22.

Friends and neighbors rallied to pick up more than 25 bags of trash, worked on community improvement projects and guided Girl Scout Troop 797, as they removed invasive plants and installed native Virginia Bluebells along Popes Head Creek. Other volunteers helped weed the pollinator garden and are looking forward to adding more native and pollinator friendly plants this spring. This event was sponsored by the Clifton Betterment Association, Town of Clifton and Virginia Department of Transportation.
