Fugitive Alton Thodos, wanted for burglary, grand larceny, credit card theft, credit card fraud and petit larceny, was captured Oct. 4. Fairfax County Police officers spotted Thodos in a stolen car near Little River Turnpike and Lincolnia Road, in the Alexandria area of Fairfax County. The officers tried to pull Thodos over but he sped away. Officers pursued him through the City of Alexandria, Arlington County, and Washington, D.C., but eventually lost sight of him. Prince George’s County Police later located him in their jurisdiction. A coordinated effort of regional law enforcement led to his apprehension. Charges related to offenses committed in Fairfax County are pending his extradition to Virginia.
