Woodbine Rehabilitation and Health Care Center celebrated its 30th anniversary Nov. 2 with a reception honoring the staff as well as first responder partners.

“Woodbine is an amazing facility that has the privilege and honor to go above and beyond what a typical nursing home can do,” said Woodbine owner Norman Rokeach. “The type of patients we take care of here is nothing that a typical nursing home can do. The dedicated staff that we have here, from the administration to the respiratory therapists to the nurses and nurses’ aides are second to none – they are all a class above everyone else.”

Rokeach also praised the facility partner first responders.

“We have a tremendous sense of gratitude to the first responders for the support they give us,” Rokeach said. “They are always working hand in hand with us to provide the best and most professional service.”

Woodbine is a skilled nursing facility specializing in subacute rehabilitative and long term care.

“I am so excited to celebrate this tonight,” said Administrator Donna Shaw.  “Our staff and team have done an amazing job the last 30 years. Tonight we are also looking towards the future as we expand so that we can continue to give more care by adding private rooms and adding technology, which is what we need for the future.”
