Purple Line Blasting in Maryland

Crews began blasting in the future elevator shaft from the Purple Line to WMATAa’s Red Line in Bethesda on Elm St at Wisconsin Avenue. Work will not impact traffic & occur weekdays and weekends, according to the Purple Line twitter, @purplelinemd.. Warning horns will sound before each blast.
