Run, walk or trot in the Rotary Club of Tysons Corner’s 5th annual 5k Turkey Trot, which returns to the area on Sunday, Nov. 12. 

The Tysons Turkey Trot, held at 1775 Tysons Blvd., will cover a certified course and raises funds for local charities.

“The Rotary Club of Tysons strives to make a positive difference in the Tysons area through the Rotary motto ‘Service Above Self,’” said Rotarian Will Bailey. “For the past 40 years, we have been providing hands-on service and monetary contributions to local charities. Our focus is on assisting children, the aging, and people in crisis. We are supporting organizations such as Second Story, Insight Memory Care Center, PRS/CrisisLink and Firefighters and Friends to the Rescue.”

Packet Pickup for the race will be held Saturday, Nov. 11 at Potomac River Running, 111 Maple Avenue W. Vienna, from noon-3 p.m. or at the race site beginning at 7 a.m. on race day. Cash prizes will be awarded for the top adult and children’s finishers. Turkeys will also be raffled off. Free parking is available at the race site.
