Paintings by Ellen Kolansky. Show and reception Saturday, Oct. 10 from 6-8 p.m. Kolansky’s exhibit, "Landscape, Figure, Object," presents fresh and lively images, mostly oils painted `en plein air.’ Her work, with its focus on shape and color, is sometimes compared to that of Fairfield Porter. At the Yellow Barn Studio and Gallery, 3700 MacArthur Blvd., Glen Echo.
