Members of Mason Opera, the opera club at George Mason University, perform an act from Gilbert and Sullivan’s H.M.S Pinafore at the annual City of Fairfax Mayor’s Ball on Friday evening at the Sherwood Community Center. The event is held each year to raise funds for the arts in Fairfax and to celebrate the opening of the 27th Annual Spotlight on the Arts Spring Festival.

Hundreds of people gathered at the Sherwood Center on Friday, April 20 to attend the 2nd Annual Mayor’s Ball, and to celebrate the opening of the 27th year of Fairfax Spotlight on the Arts Festival.
