Matthew McFarland, 14, of Lorton (right) negotiated his way to the top of the real-estate pyramid during the fifth annual Monopoly Tournament to Benefit Habitat for Humanity. The event was held at the Workhouse Arts Center on Saturday, Feb. 25. Brian Miller of Woodbridge (center) took fifth place and Bernard Sloan of Lorton (left), a tournament veteran took fourth place.

Matthew McFarland, 14, outplayed, outwitted and outlasted nearly 100 other Monopoly fans during the fifth annual Monopoly Tournament at the Workhouse Arts Center in Lorton on Saturday, Feb. 25.
