The Fairfax County Police Marine Patrol Unit docks its 35-foot Marlago boat at Pohick Bay on May 26 during a routine patrol. PFC Matthew Gubb observes surrounding boaters to check for safety violations, proper registration and to ensure all children in boats are wearing personal flotation devices.
