“Col. Tobias Lear” (right) and “George Washington Parke Custis” are official greeters at the annual family night picnic on the grounds of President and Mrs. Washington’s estate on Sunday, Aug. 19. Approximately 2,000 area residents attended the event, which included food, music, and raffle drawings.
