PFC Brian Bowman drives the Fairfax County Police Marine Patrol Unit while PFC Matthew Grubb remains vigilant on watch as they patrol Little Hunting Creek on May 26. The unit patrols 100 miles of shoreline in Fairfax County educating boaters on safety, enforcing boating rules and regulations and providing emergency assistance if needed. During prime boating season, Memorial Day to Labor Day, the unit patrols seven days a week.
