A business seminar will be presented by The Washington, D.C. Metro Chapter of the National Association of Professional Organizers at Quality Hotel and Conference Center, Courthouse Plaza, 1200 N. A new ABC Store has opened at 2955-A S. Glebe Road. The store is located in Shirley Park Shopping Center with Giant Food and features 2,535 square feet of retail space offering liquors, cordials and specialty items. The store hours are Monday-Saturday, from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. ABC currently operates 259 stores throughout Virginia. Two-thirds of ABC profits, after statutory adjustments, are distributed to localities on a per-capita basis. The remaining one-third goes to the state's General Fund. Last year, Arlington County received $458,960 from ABC profits and $267,461 from the state's wine-tax distributions. Visit www.abc.state.va.us.
