G. T. Halpin, founder, president and CEO of WestGroup in McLean, received a special “Master Entrepreneur of the Year” award at the Ernst & Young Greater Washington Entrepreneur of the Year Banquet on June 27. Alan Gittelson, a top executive in the Real Estate Advisory Group at Ernst & Young, announced the award.

Sida Smith of Great Falls, Marianne Prendergast of McLean, Yassi Nasseri of McLean and The Belt Team of Vienna were all named top producers for June 2002 at Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.

Two sales associates from Weichert, Realtors’ McLean/Old Dominion Office have been honored for their achievements in June. Kathy Fong was honored as the office’s top producer with the most resale revenue units and the highest dollar volume. She was also honored for generating the most sales and the most listings sold. Randy Huntley was recognized as the top lister.

Margaret Hollar was honored for generating the most resale revenue units and the most sales. Penny Yerks was recognized for producing the highest dollar volume and the most listings. Joan Stokes was honored for generating the most sales and the highest dollar volume. Christine Richardson was recognized for producing the resale revenue units and the most listings. Bhavani Ghanta was honored for generating the most listings sold.

McLean area Northwester Mutual Financial Representatives were recognized July 22 during the 122nd Annual Meeting of the Association of Agents for sales achievements for the year ending May 31. Todd Krebs, Rob Robertory, and David Seager received Diamond awards, and Ryan Stille, Mark Adams, and Jeffrey Schenkel received Emerald awards.
