Bells Mill Elementary School celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday and Read Across America Day in literary style complete with homemade hats and honored guests. Athletes and media celebrities read to and answered questions from students during the all day event. Markita Aldridge of the Washington Mystics, Abby Wamback of the Washington Freedom, Jafak Williams and Reggie Kemp from the University of Maryland football team, and Andrea McCarren of WJLA-TV participated in the celebration.
