The Loudoun County Disability Services Board (DSB) presented its inaugural FAME Award to the South Street Under restaurant in Leesburg. The FAME Award recognizes facilities access management excellence, said DSB chairman Brett Mason. The first FAME Award was presented on Oct. 17 to South Street Under co-owner Shawn Malone by Mason and other members of the DSB. Dave and Kathy Olson have joined Long and Foster as realtors in the Ashburn office. Kathy has been involved in the community for several years, working with the PTA and teachers at Ashburn Elementary, the Booster Club at Broad Run High School and as a Sunday School teacher at St. David’s Church. Dave has represented Ashburn in several roles, including the Loudoun County School Board, the Planning Commission, the George Mason University Board of Visitors, the Northern Virginia Planning District Commission and the Virginia Baseball Stadium Authority.

Gary Hinks Totman, CFSP of Sterling, has been awarded the designation of Certified Funeral Service Practitioner by the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice. Totman completed a 180-hour program of continuing education activities and events.

Weichert Realtors has announced its top associates for September. Barbara Dobbins, of the Dulles office, was the top producer with the most resale revenue units and the highest dollar volume.

She was also recognized as the top sales associate. Linda Sonnhalter generated the most listings and the most listings sold.
