Julie Johnson, a business writer and public relations consultant in Leesburg, has been included in a biographical directory published by Marquis Who's Who, the leading biographical reference publisher of the achievers and contributors from across the country and around the world. Johnson will be profiled in the 2003 edition of "Who's Who in America", which was released last November.

Eugene D. Troxell, Loudoun County's director of information technology(DIT), has been recognized as one of the business world's Premier 100 IT Leaders by IDG's "Computerworld." The award honors individuals who have "creatively applied technology to execute their organization's business strategy." Troxell, 35, began his county career as a high school teacher and then served as the director of computer services for the school system before moving to county government in 1989. Since then he has been responsible for the establishment of the DIT's data center, the construction of the county's computer networks, the development and implementation of the 98 major school and government information systems, and the implementation and operation of the Public Safety Radio System. Troxell will be honored at the Computerworld Premier 100 IT Leaders' Conference, Feb. 23-25 in Scottsdale, Ariz.
