The Arc of Northern Virginia held its annual membership picnic Saturday at Van Dyck Park in Fairfax City. The main course for the affair was provided by Harris Teeter grocery stores, while attendees supplied the side dishes and desserts.
The Arc is a nonprofit organization that advocates for the full range of rights, opportunities and choices for a productive life for all people with developmental disabilities, mental retardation and other related disabilities and their families.
