Assemblies of God missionary to India, Rev. Nick Robertson, will speak at the 10:30 a.m. service on Sunday, Aug. 3 at Jubilee Christian Center. Jubilee Christian Center also will be participating in the Assemblies of God National Convention in Washington, D.C., this weekend, including the "Pray the Way" gathering on the Mall near the Capitol on Sunday, Aug. 3, at 4 p.m. The public is invited to attend this time of prayer for the nation.

Congregation Yad Shalom is a conservative synagogue located in Centreville. It provides many programs which offer the experience of a Jewish lifestyle in a traditional format.

Temple B’nai Shalom will hold a Membership Shabbat on Friday, Aug. 15 at 6:30 p.m. The membership shabbat is being held to help new Temple members feel more connected and welcome, and to help potential members make a decision about joining the Temple. The evening will include building tours, a "meet and greet" session with the rabbis, temple leaders, and committee chairs, Shabbat services in the sanctuary and an Oneg following services. Centreville Community Church is presenting a summer message series in August entitled "Seeing Jesus: Through the Eyes of ..." It will look at Jesus through the eyes of different people in the Bible — a man born blind, a rich man, a child and religious people and others.
