Pvt. Michael T. Morgan, son of Patricia M. and David C. Morgan of Strattondale Court in Burke, recently completed basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C. Morgan is a 2002 graduate of Lake Braddock Secondary High School in Burke.
Pvt. Brad T. Baecht, son of Patricia A. Baecht of Wood Sorrel Lane in Burke and Walter E. Baecht of Centreville, recently completed basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C. Baecht is a 2002 graduate of Robinson Secondary School in Fairfax.
Marine Corps Reserve Maj. Robert W. Bruce, a 1988 graduate of Lake Braddock Secondary School in Burke, was recently called to active duty in support of Operation Enduring Freedom while assigned to the Marine Corps Reserve’s Third Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company, based in Terminal Island, Calif. Its mission is to reposition to Southwest Asia for possible deployment in the global war on terrorism.
