Chanukah Dinner. The Jewish Community Center sponsors a dinner on Saturday, Dec. 11 at 5:30 p.m. Dinner for the whole family is provided by Gourmet Catering, and food orders must be placed no later than Tuesday, Dec. 6. Evening also includes a performance by Jack Julius, an accomplished magician and pantomime artist, the lighting of the Chanukah candles, arts and crafts, games and a moon bounce. Cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children. The Jewish Community Center is located at 8900 Little River Turnpike, Fairfax. JCCNV Senior Connection: Coffee, Cards and Conversation. Fill your Tuesday mornings with cards, conversation and laughter. Senior Connection meets on Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m.
JCCNV Games and Conversation. Monday Mornings, from 10 a.m. to noon. Fill your Monday mornings with games such as Scrabble, Mah Jongg, Cards, Rummikub and others. This is an informal, drop-in activity. Coffee, tea and refreshments are provided. Cost is $2 for members and $3 for nonmembers.
