Theft from a Motor Vehicle

44300 block Silkworth Terrace, Ashburn. July 21-22, 7 p.m.-10 a.m., unknown subject(s) entered a vehicle and removed a car CD stereo. Value: $400.

Destruction of Property

400 block West Laurel Avenue, Sterling. July 22, 9-10:30 a.m., unknown subject(s) damaged and removed the right side mirror of a vehicle. Value: $250.

Stone Wall Pond/South Riding Boulevard, South Riding. July 17-18, 9 p.m.-7 a.m., unknown subject(s) damaged the antennas and keyed eight vehicles, also damaged were a mailbox, four street signs, and flowerpots. Value: $3,230.

500 block Shaw Road, Sterling. July 21, 2-5 p.m., unknown subject(s) damaged the front passenger window of a vehicle. Value: $250.

39200 block Diggs Valley Road, Hamilton. July 19-20, 6 p.m.-8:50 a.m., destruction of Property: Unknown subject(s) damaged the rear window of a van. Value: $350.

25300 block Loganshire Terrace, South Riding. July 18-19, 8 p.m.-9 a.m., unknown subject(s) scratched a hate symbol into the hood of a vehicle.

Pocket Picking

47100 block Community Plaza, Sterling. July 22, 1:30 p.m., unknown subject(s) removed a wallet from a purse sitting in a shopping cart. The 68-year-old female victim was grocery shopping in the produce section.

Burglary/Breaking and Entering

45900 block Trefoil Lane, Sterling. July 21-22, 6 p.m.-7:15 a.m., unknown subject(s) attempted to gain entry into a business.

20070 block Coltsfoot Terrace, Ashburn. July 20-21, 4 p.m.-6 a.m., unknown subject(s) entered the Saddle Ridge Fitness Center and removed exercise equipment. The front door was damaged upon the forced entry. Value: $700.

Larceny

43500 block Blacksmith Square, Ashburn. July 22, 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., unknown subject(s) removed two bicycles that were left unsecured at the rear of a residence. Value: $200.

15000 block Barlow Circle, Waterford. July 18-20, 5 p.m.-7 a.m., unknown subject(s) entered a construction site and removed a large amount of lumber. Value: $8,000.

Theft from a Motor Vehicle/Destruction of Property

Potomac View Road/River Meadows, Sterling. July 21-22, 6-7 p.m., unknown subject(s) damaged the passenger side window of a vehicle and removed a car stereo and speakers. Value: $550.

Weapons Law Violation

Ashburn Road/Deer View Drive, Ashburn. July 22, 2:07 a.m., a 31-year-old Ashburn man was driving south along Ashburn Road when he heard a thump on the right side of his vehicle. After stopping the victim observed a small dent which may have been caused by a BB or pellet gun.

Aggravated Assault

40300 block Oatlands Mill Road, Leesburg. July 22, 2-2:10 a.m., a 30-year-old Woodbridge man was cut several times after an argument early Thursday morning. The victim contacted authorities and the suspect, Raul Antonio Flores of Silver Spring, Md., was arrested and charged with malicious wounding. He was being held at the Loudoun Adult Detention Center without bond. The victim received apparent minor injuries in the incident.

700 block N. Concord Court, Sterling. July 19, 6:55 a.m., a 16-year-old male was riding his bicycle when a white male and two Hispanic males approached him. The two Hispanic males approached the victim and assaulted him. The victim refused treatment. The suspects, who are described as being in their mid-teens are said to have fled the area on foot.

Receiving Stolen Property

21100 block Dulles Town Circle, Sterling. July 18, 6:05 p.m., two women were arrested Sunday for attempting to return more than $7,000 worth of stolen merchandise to Nordstrom. Dawn Robinson, 29, and Tiffany Tripp, 23, both of whom are from New York, were charged with receiving stolen property. A third suspect, Irene Ryan, 34, also of New York, was charged with credit card fraud after she purchased more than $2,000 worth of items at Zales using a stolen credit card.

Destruction of Property/Larceny

43200 block Gatwick Square, Ashburn. July 14-15, midnight-8:30 a.m., unknown subject(s) entered a vehicle by damaging the front passenger window and door and removed a purse and its contents. The purse contained credit cards and a small amount of cash. Value: $1,168.
