Penny Yerks, of the McLean/Dolley Madison Office of Weichert, Realtors, was recognized with two regional awards for the month of May. The region includes 31 Weichert offices located throughout Virginia. Yerks, a member of the top-ranking Chairman of the Board Premiere Club, led the region in recording the new home dollar volume for the second month in a row. She also led the way in resale dollar volume last month. Yerks was the No. 1 agent in Weichert's Capital Region last year in gross commission and dollar volume and was No. 4 in revenue units and listings sold.

The McLean/Dolley Madison Office of Weichert, Realtors was recognized with five regional awards for the month of May. The office led all 31 of Weichert's Virginia offices in resale dollar volume and resale revenue units for the second month in a row. It also topped the region in new home dollar volume, resale listings and resale. The McLean/Dolley Madison branch ranked first in profit, listings and Weichert Family of Companies dollar volume last year in the Capital Region.

Mitra Hadavand has joined the Weichert, Realtors' Great Falls Office as a sales associate. Possessing one year of experience as a licensed real estate professional, Hadavand previously worked for another local firm. Hadavand has lived in Richmond with her husband and three children for the past eight years. She is originally from Iran and is fluent in Farsi, allowing her to help many clients in the diverse metropolitan area. Outside of her career, Hadavand is active in the Iranian Association of Northern Virginia and the Iranian Association of Richmond.

Carol Van Doren, of the McLean/Dolley Madison Office of Weichert Realtors, is a 2004 inductee into the Weichert Hall of Fame. She was officially honored at the Capital Region Annual Service Awards Luncheon, held at the McLean Hilton. Hall of Fame inductees are chosen according to three basic criteria: tenure, productivity and recognition from peers, and Van Doren received an elegant statue and a dozen yellow roses in honor of her induction this year. A lifetime top producer and member of the Chairman of the Board Club at Weichert, Van Doren is also an associate broker and the office's lead mentor. Because of her ability to match mentors and mentees, the office's program has thrived under her leadership.

Debra Martin, processing manager at the McLean/Old Dominion Office of Weichert Realtors, has been named one of two Employees of the Year for Weichert's Virginia offices. Martin was officially honored at the Capital Region Annual Service Awards Luncheon, held at the McLean Hilton. Martin has been with Weichert for eight years. She kept her office running smoothly while it grew by 40 percent in 2004, and she often takes time to share her skills and experience to help train other processing managers. For being named Employee of the Year, Martin received an elegant trophy and a bouquet of one dozen yellow roses.

Joey Saunders of the McLean Center Office of Weichert Realtors received an award for 25 years of service at Weichert. Saunders was officially honored at the Capital Region Annual Service Awards Luncheon, held at the McLean Hilton. In recognition of 25 years as a member of the Weichert Family, Saunders received an award pin adorned with two diamonds and one sapphire. Saunders is a member of the President's Club at Weichert and received a National Sales Award in 2004 for being in the top 5 percent of sales associates nationwide.

Branch manager Steve Gaskins and sales associate Charlie Mayhew of the McLean/Old Dominion Office of Weichert Realtors received 25-year awards for their years of service at Weichert. They were officially honored at the Capital Region Annual Service Awards Luncheon, held at the McLean Hilton. Each received an award pin adorned with two diamonds and one sapphire. As manager, Gaskins led his office to success in 2004 as the group finished fifth in dollar volume out of more than 50 Weichert offices located throughout Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C. Mayhew earned membership in the Chairman of the Board Elite Club last year.

Dan Laytham was the top producer, lister and seller for May at the Great Falls Long & Foster office, with a sales volume of $8,132,078.

Lilian Jorgenson was the top producer and lister for May at the Mclean Long & Foster office, with a sales volume of $11,705,900. The Fusion Team as the top seller.

Marianne Prendergast was the top producer, lister, seller and the agent with the most new listings for May at the McLean Elm Long & Foster office, with a sales volume of $9,173,000.

Linda Thompson was the top producer and lister for May at the Tysons Long & Foster office, with a sales volume of $10,137,727; Fran Kormann was top seller; and Linda Thompson and Fran Kormann were the agents with the most new listings.
