An adopt-a-thon was held last weekend at the Fairfax Corner Shopping Center to try and help animals find homes.
With everything from rabbits to dogs, cats and more, the two-day event hosted 26 organizations from the area. The event was sponsored by No More Homeless Pets. It is not a shelter, but can provide information to those interested in adopting animals. Visit www.nmhpdc.org.
