<lst>Christ the King Lutheran Church, 10550 Georgetown Pike, Great Falls, will hold a Travelers Thanksgiving Service on Tuesday, Nov. 22 at 7 pm. Pastor Gysan's sermon theme is "Talk Turkey." The King's Choir will also participate in the service. Following the service there will be a pie social and a pie auction hosted by the youth group in the Fellowship Hall. "Come Lord Jesus: Advent Evening of Prayer." The Dominican Retreat presents this Advent evening of prayer Nov. 30 where together as a community of faith one can listen and reflect on the joyful expectation for the coming of the Christ child at Christmas. Father Kevin McGrath, OP of the Dominican House of Studies in Washington DC will be the retreat director. This evening retreat will include prayer, a conference, quiet time for personal prayer and reflection, Mass and refreshments. All are welcome, regardless of their religious affiliation. Curves McLean, in partnership with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, invites potential members to workout for charity. Through December 10, Curves McLean will provide a free one-month membership to any female who donates $40 or more to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

<lst>For the 25th year, McLean Baptist Church is offering Free Conversational English Classes on Monday mornings. Classes are designed for those to whom English is a second language and include beginning, intermediate and advanced levels. Emmanuel Lutheran Church has a full range of education, music, worship and outreach programs.
