So many events were planned for the annual Yacht Haven Garden Club event that it took almost four hours to fit it all in. An hour for socializing and shopping was followed by a fashion show featuring outfits from Jones N.Y., Anne Klein New York and Lord & Taylor. Modeling this year’s outfits was: Diane Avent, Godi Habib, Bonnie Lilley, Felicia Logan, Marvel Luykx, Babs McClendon, Frances Prescott, Chris Pryately, Marcia Siegert and Mary Woods.
Angelita Kabler and Jacque Knight served as co-chairs for the fashion show and Amy Jackson from Lord & Taylor was the fashion show commentator. A couple hundred guests were then served a luncheon prepared by the Fort Belvoir Officer’s Club. There is still time to bid on almost 200 silent auction items and buy raffle tickets for a dozen or so raffle prizes.
