Potomac Artists in Touchs promoted its year-long charity fundraising event — Ponymania — in Potomac Village Sept. 17 and 18.
Families picked up special cards and tried to visit all 10 painted horses in order to recieve a special prize.
The Potomac group sought sponsors for the ponies and the painted them for public display.
The ponies will be sold at a gala live auction Nov. 19 at the Bolger Center. The money raised will go to charities including Cure Autism Now, Cabin John Park Volunteer Fire Department, Community Ministry of Montgomery County and So Others Might Eat, as well as Potomac Artists in Touch.
