Hundreds of colorful, Chanukah-themed crafts were drawn, cut and pasted at this year's Chanukah Wonderland, staged by Chabad at Tysons, where children tried a variety of craft tables, made olive oil, saw a puppet show and played board games.
Because Chabad had trouble finding space for the Wonderland this year, it was held for only one day, Saturday, Dec. 17, rather than the usual 12 days or more. At the synagogue, near the intersection of Chain Bridge Road and Horseshoe Drive, about two dozen children and their parents spent four hours or so having fun and learning about Chanukah history and traditions.
